Welcome to my homepage!
I am Stefano (but Ste is fine!), DFG Walter Benjamin fellow at the Institut für Theoretische Astrophysik (ITA), Universität Heidelberg. I collaborate with prof. Michela Mapelli’s DEMOBLACK group.
My research interests mainly focus on population studies of astrophysical black holes using gravitational wave observations. I also like to annoy colleagues and friends with Bayesian non-parametric methods.
When I’m not busy with physics, I enjoy a good book and I love playing volleyball.
Here you can find something about me, my research and whatever I might find interesting and worth posting. You can find my CV and a list of publications in the Papers page. If you’re curious about what I am working on at the moment, visit the Projects section: if you find anything interesting, feel free to get in touch with me!
